..all because two people fell in love♥: Only the beginning....

Just thought this would be a great place to post updates about our family, so wouldn't have to be on Facebook all the time! Just a peek at what Josh, Sophie, Baby, and I have been up to &hearts;

So far this year we have been on a lot of trips! Sophie has already been to three corners of the US and she's only five months old. Talk about an adventurist :) We have had many visitors come see us in the last few months.

Sophie went to her first car show with Grandpa Barry when she was a month old.

Grandpa Dale drove down from Washington and I think Sophie enjoyed herself :) We got to go our favorite Japanese restaurant Sumo. Josh and I even to got enjoy our first date night since Sophie was born, while Grandpa enjoyed some time with the little munchkin.

When Sophie was two months old, we made a road trip to Arizona to see Grandpa Tony and Grandma Vern. We were very excited they got to meet our little bundle of joy. It was a very long drive, but luckily Sophie slept most of the 19 hour trip!

On the way, we stopped in Western Kansas to see Dorothy's house. Unfortunately, we didn't get to go in the museum because it was closed on Saturdays. It was really interesting seeing the history of her house, and how they built a city around it. It was strange, because in the movie the house was in the middle of nowhere. The house was over a 100 years old!

We finally made it to Arizona and was very excited we finally got there! We surprised Grandpa Tony by sitting on the couch and waiting for him to get home from work. It took him a few minutes to processes what was going on :)

Sophie got to meet lots of family. We went to the Yuma Territorial Prison where I got to lock Josh in an old prison cell, Sophie learned how to water the yard with Grandpa, and Aunt Robin happened to be in Yuma the same time we were so Sophie got to meet her too!

During our trip, we went to San Diego and stayed in a beautiful condo overlooking Balboa park, we went to the National History Museum and saw the 100 anniversary exhibit for Titanic, walked Mission beach, and went shopping in Seaport Village. We, also stopped at a Carter's store and Sophie got a whole new wardrobe!

After a two week stay, we were ready to head home! This time we took a different route and made a few stops on the way. We stayed a night in Green Valley, so Sophie could meet her great grandparents. Made a stop at the Grand Canyon. I finally got to see Amarillo! And we went to Wichita Falls for a night where Uncle Bryce was in tech school. The trip took a little a longer with all the stops and detours, but it was great Sophie got to meet more family.

It felt so good to be home after that long trip! Only to find out that in 2 weeks Sophie and I would be heading to Washington to throw Heidi's baby shower. We decided to surprise Grandma Tanya at work and not tell her we were coming. It was the funniest thing I ever saw! She was very happy to see Sophie. She even took her on a shopping spree in Silverdale! While in Washington, Sophie got to meet a lot of family!

Our first few days in Washington we stayed up in Bellingham with Heidi. It was so nice being up there and Jacob sure enjoyed practicing for baby Emma by feeding Sophie and helping give her baths. I think Heidi enjoyed having Sophie around too!
